Talks of Atomic Heart was dead until Mundfish released another trailer for the game in 2020. However, due to the sheer amount of support the developers received regarding the game, Mundfish decided to pause the release of the project and devote more time and energy to making a great game and depth. The Atomic Heart project originally started in 2017 according to Mundfish and was first announced in 2018 with a release date set for next year (2019).
